The Lake

THE AREA  *  DIRECTIONS

Crescent Lake is a fabulous find and offers four seasons of fun!  It is away from the crazy tourist madness of larger lakes, yet big enough to provide hours (or weeks) of entertainment.  Whether you are looking for a quiet romantic get-away, or an action packed family vacation, we think you will thoroughly enjoy all the lake and surrounding areas have to offer.

Myles Away is a true waterfront property.  Step out the sliding glass door onto an expansive deck that faces west for spectacular sunset views.  Three steps lead down to a small sandy area with entrance into the lake.  A large dock is available for relaxing, enjoying views, or hosting a 20-24′ boat (boat ramp is across the lake).

Provided are two sit-in, wide (ie stable) kayaks, two sit on top children kayaks (up to 130lbs), and a four-person canoe, plus life jackets (for a proper fit, younger children and larger adults may need to bring their own).  Water skiing is allowed on Crescent Lake, however Jet Skis are not.

And the lake is not just suitable for summers.  Some of the best kayaking is during the spring and fall seasons, especially as the leaves turn colors or new blooms arrive.  During the winter enjoy snowmobiling, ice fishing, snow shoeing, and ice skating.  Be sure to check out the surrounding area too.
